Celebrating the 1st year Anniversary of Cryptic Chaos. It was a year ago today that Monty's staff member Mandy & her friend Sarah suggested the bar try a Goth Night. Manager Wade being the open minded fellow he is got in touch with the The Crypt & Freq 107, and he and DJ Dunc got the thing rolling. To everyone involved, we are eternally grateful. This was actually also a sad occassion since it was also a year ago that Die Maschine shut down; mustn't forget that. I was however not keeping track of things. I was oblivious to the date coming up and didn't have anything particularly special planned. Wade had some Door prizes to give out (thank God), and to do SOMETHING, I gave out 10 copies of the Summer Darkness to the first 10 people who came to the booth
to give me another word for 'Foolish' (the same word could not be used by the same person).
'Just come to the booth and tell me what I am!!!' I said. Among the things I am are idiotic, ludicrous, assinine (that's a good one!), un-intelligent, moronic, and I seem to recall someone saying 'Brain Dead'. Wonderful!!!!

Final Night, and it was Amazing!!! Although there were problems with the sound for Dorian's Gray's performance (it didn't do justice to the recordings), it was still a great night. HellNight 2006 takes place!!! Amazing crowd of well over 200 people showed up for it. Chaos Theory did a tremendous show, and the evening marked the date that I retire from Ogremind and pass the torch to my friend, Rachel. Best Costume awards were done by letting the crowd decide the winners. I don't recall much except that He-Man and She-Ra won for Best Couple, although Leatherface and Jason could have combined forces and also competed in the category.

For helping us get the word out to everyone about this event (and past events) we thank Rob Wiliams, Bartley Kives, and Karen Wade of the Winnipeg Free Press, David Schmeichel of the Winnipeg Sun, and Radio DJs Bruce Tolluch, The Scarlet Whore of Babylon, and Kraeden.
